How much water do you REALLY need?
Drinking enough water can help us feel more energized, have clearer skin, and boost our mood. But how much do we need? Each body is different. Mayo Clinic says here's how to tell exactly how much YOU need to be drinking each day. On average, men need 13 cups; women 9!
It's a 'simple' scientific formula according to the Mayo Clinic to help make sure you're getting the water your body function optimally. Better get to it! It's a lot more than I thought.
Here it is:
Step 1: Take your weight (in lbs) and divide it by 2.2.
Step 2: Multiply that number by your age.
Step 3: Divide that sum by 28.3.
Step 4: Your total is how many ounces of water you should drink each day.
Divide that number by eight to see your result in cups.
